Living Out of Heavens – the life of the miraculous

“Only that which takes place in heaven is permitted to happen in our lives this year.”
Those were the words the Spirit of God spoke into my heart concerning our partners, families, and friends of this ministry.

God’s desire is for His children to live on earth as if we are already in heaven. His dream is that the heavenly life becomes our earthly reality. He takes great joy in seeing His family walking in the blessings and the virtues of His word.

The word says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ”(Ephesians 1:3).

So from God’s standpoint, all blessings are ours! He says, “Everything is already yours as a gift: the present, the future – all of it is yours, and you are privileged to be in union with Christ, who is in union with God.”(1Corinthians 3:22 Message)

Jesus lived His life out of heaven and that was the great secret to his miraculous ministry. He told Nicodemus,“And no man hath ascended up to heaven but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven” (John 3:13).

What an amazing announcement! I want you to note that when He made that announcement, He was still on earth. He did not say, “The Son of man which was in heaven.” Rather, He said, “The Son of man which is in heaven.” Why did Jesus make such an announcement? Because He lived His life in two worlds at the same time. He lived by a different set of rules and principles than the average person on earth. Living out of heaven gives you an advantage in life. Most of the great men and women of God from times past (as well as those of the present day) lived consciously in this reality. They refused to allow the sense realm to control them. I believe that this was one of the secrets of their miracle ministries.

Let us consider the life of David for a moment. He was called by God “A man after my heart.” That is a very striking statement. It is one thing if someone else has said it. But it is a whole different ball game when that statement comes from God. So why did He say it? I believe it was because David lived and breathed his life to please God. He lived his life out of the bosom of God. He had a revelation that God was his strong tower. By the vehicle of revelation he was able to see, hear, and touch the things of God. David was a man who refused to allow the physical realm to dictate what he could or could not do. He even took it a step further, by bringing the heavenly realm into the earth and using it for his advantage. Let us examine David?s life more closely:

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident” Psalm 27:1-3.

Why was David not afraid? “One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock” Psalm 27:4-6.

He kept living his life out of heaven, the realm of reality. That was the reason he never lost a battle. When he faced opposition and challenging situations, look at what he said:

“Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation” Psalm 35:1-3.

Here is a man who was so conscious of the spirit realm that he used it for his advantage. “Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt. Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the Lord chase them. Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the Lord persecute them. For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul” Psalm 35:4-7.

What are you doing about that situation that has been assaulting your destiny? It is time for it to be changed! Let us learn from our father, who through faith and patience obtained the promise (Hebrews 11:33). I believe God is calling His people to start living their lives out of heaven. Stop regarding the carnal and the small things. It is time to pray from heaven, live from heaven and sing from heaven, because only then can you move and change things on earth. My friend, these are not the words of man, these are words from that heavenly realm. Let this article be your invitation to start living your life from that realm, the realm of reality. Remember, there is no limit to what you can do when you catch this revelation. When you live your life from this realm, everything about you will be significantly different. Life will be a constant high. Beauty, prosperity and constant victory will be your portion. You will become what God said to Moses, and even greater, “I have made thee a god to pharaoh” Exodus 7:1. This is the mindset that will turn you into another person. I can see God making you into a wonder and a star, and causing you to become a pattern for victorious living.
